Building Your Faculty Website

In this workshop you will build a faculty website to display your CV and/or research interests. You will learn to use Dreamweaver to create a simple website using a pre-defined template that is inline with UB visual identity guidelines. You will leave the session with knowledge about how to continue the development of your website.

You’re encouraged to customize the content of your website for your own CV, course website, research center, etc.

Participants are encouraged to prepare for the workshop by thinking about the content you’d like on your website. Sample content will be provided, or you can bring your own files. Files such as word processed documents and/or digital images can be brought on media such as a thumb-drive, CD, or emailed to yourself.

The following link shows an example of the type of website we’ll create using a generic template. Templates may also be supplied by your technology node to coincide with your school or departmental website.
